On Sunday May 27th, I’ll be at The Producer Network’s ‘Mix it up’ event. I’m going to be the guest Tutor, giving a ‘making a beat’ tutorial and sharing some of my Maschine/Native Instruments knowledge with the group throughout the day.

“This event has been brought together by a group of producers who would like to bring together a strong community of producers from all over the country to network, all genres are welcome. A place for producers to call their second home”

The event is simply planned for producers to: meet, network, share advice & collaborate.

Producers bring their own equipment to the event and make tracks there and then with others, whether its just laptops with midi keyboards or MPCs (remember your turntable, vinyl, interface, etc) as well as share advice (either business – working with / how to get in touch with artists)  or technical – mixing etc) and experiences between each other to help your neighbouring producer achieve their goals.”

Tickets have already sold out for this popular event, however they run them monthly, so make sure you get down to the next one in June.
